I believe that at the core of all people lies a deep well of goodness, that when evoked can shape a happy life guided by love and true meaning. I believe that all people long to make a difference in the lives of others and that every person truly has something to offer. These beliefs have shaped my work in the human development field of professional life coaching, executive coaching, and creating and facilitating workshops for over three decades! My work has primarily been in the realm of developing mindful relationship with self and others, emotional literacy and whole-brain manifestation. I take a body-mind approach to my work.
Happily, I can celebrate that I have arrived at this advanced age having grown my consciousness as a human and Spiritual being, and as a professional. In working with people, I strongly believe it is important to walk my talk as best I can... to embody whatever I am advocating for. Through the years I have built a vast and eclectic toolkit that I happily share with my clients, workshop participants, and all who are interested. I bring all of that to Life Works Academy and now I offer it to you! I am a Master Certified Coach (International Coach Federation); Conscious Living Coach (the Hendricks Institute); Certified Strengths Coach (Gallup); and a host of other certifications. I consider my most important offering to be my lifetime of first-hand personal and professional experience.
Originally from Denver, Colorado I have been in Texas since the 70’s and in San Antonio for the past 23 years… a beautiful vibrant multicultural city. I have been with Z, my partner, for 23 years and we have two miniature schnauzers, Pippa and Olivia, who bring us joy every single day and are the boss of us for sure! I enjoy cooking and entertaining, being with family and friends, yoga, and all kinds of personal and spiritual growth endeavors on my own and alongside my friends. I listen to audio books on topics related to personal/spiritual development, fiction, biographies, and politics. I like to stretch myself to learn new things and I look forward to the remainder of my life living from curiosity and continuing to grow and expand.
It is my great pleasure to be in partnership with my amazingly awake and aware talented and beloved niece, Cera. I enjoy her brilliance and spontaneity and all that she brings to our company and to my life. She is my teacher, my friend, and my amazing business partner offering Life Works Academy her knowledge and many gifts and talents, which are very different than mine. A deep bow to you Cera!

My love for learning has guided my life path. It’s this love that scatters me in a 1,000 directions at once and then pulls me back together and sends me toward my next adventure. It’s this love for learning that brought me where I am today, working passionately to support purpose, true nature, and whole-hearted living in the individuals I support through courses, classes, and social groups.
I believe we humans are born both divine and earthly and we spend our lives working for a balance between the two. I believe through the sincere expression of our true nature and our innate gifts we can find joy on earth. After we peel back the layers of beliefs that do not serve our true nature, our shining self can come through.
It is through quiet awareness that we find ourselves and discover our beliefs and meditation is a wonderful tool for this pursuit. I have been practicing and teaching mindful meditation for 10 years and deeply enjoy supporting individuals to find the quiet resilience that lives in each one of us.
I am trained as a life coach and a gerontologist. I received my Master of Science in Gerontology from the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology at the University of Southern California and my coach training through The Mindfulness Coaching School in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I have thrived over the past twenty years as a fitness instructor and wellness and longevity coach. In the most recent years, I have had the privilege of educating, consulting, and coaching older adults and the people who serve them as well as supporting the nervous systems of people who identify as highly sensitive.
I am both thrilled and blessed to be on this support journey with my Aunt Chris. She has been my personal life coach my entire life and I have discovered so much about myself and how I can operate in the world from a place of joy because of her support. She is an amazing human who will no doubt touch you on your journey in life as well.
I am a Colorado native. I grew up camping, skiing, and exploring this beautiful state. After a decade of living in other states and countries, I settled back in Arvada, Colorado where I currently live with my three children, Solana, Elijah, and Cleo, my husband Mike, and our dog Vega.
We enjoy spending time with our extended family, paddleboarding in Grand Lake, hitting the amazing Colorado hot springs, and enjoying the diverse arts available in the Denver area.
